 Thomas Lawton "Junior" Rowan, 74, of Haines City, FL, died September 16, 2005 
at Memorial Hospital of Auburndale, FL.

 Born February 16, 1931 to the late Rev. Thomas and Pearl Whitley Rowan, he was 
a building contractor.

 Survivors include his wife, Mary B. Rowan of Haines City; one son, Ray Rowan 
of Adel; one daughter, Brenda Smith of Nashville; two stepsons, Louie Bain and 
David Bain, both of Haines City; four brothers, Bobby Rowan of Lenox, Vernon 
Rowan of Omega, Richard Rowan of Winter Haven, FL, Nate Rowan of Cincinnati, 
OH; four sisters, Evelyn Eason of Oliver Springs, TN, Pat Ingram of 
Stockbridge, Marie Hagadorn of Albany, Ovaline Williams of Stockbridge; 10 
grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held September 19 at New River Holiness Church with Rev. 
Jimmy Hagadorn of Albany and Bobby Rowan officiating. Musical selections 
included "This is What Heaven Means To Me," sung by Nate Rowan, "Sounds Like 
Home to Me," the Eason Family, "Silver Haired Daddy," by Bobby Jenkins, "More 
Than Anything," by Linda Rowan, "Far Away," by Rachel Allegood, "When We All 
Get To Heaven," by the congregation, accompanied by Rachel Allegood, pianist.

 Interment was in New River Holiness Church Cemetery.

 Active pallbearers were Robbie Rowan, Gary Rowan, Timmy Smith, Larry Rowan, 
Garry L. Rowan, Don Rowan.

 Honorary pallbearers were Chris Player, Everette Rowan, John Scorboro, Danny 
Kelly, Russ Dixon, Charles Goff, Mike Woodward, Darrell Purvis.

 Purvis Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
