Unknown - Got this at the Willacoochee Library
Reford Rowe, Rt. 2, Alapaha, died Thursday, Sept. 23, following an extended 
illness. A native of Coffee County, he was the son of the late Mack and 
Rachael Spikes Rowe.
 Funeral services were held at Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church near 
Alapaha with the Rev. Charlie Webster officiating. Interment followed in the 
church cemetery.
 Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Attwell Rowe, Rt. 2 Alapaha; 5 sons; Marvin 
Rowe, Pearson; Maxwell Rowe, Orlando, FL; Harris Rowe, Tifton; Robert Rowe, 
Tifton; Donnell Rowe, Astatula, FL; 2 daughters: Mrs. Vivian Stone, Alapaha; 
Mrs. Mariola Scott, Willacoochee; 2 brothers, Earnest Rowe, Alapaha; Mackie 
Rowe, Willacoochee; 1 sister, Mrs. Fannie Hall, Oak Hill, FL; 14 grandchildren.
 Active Pallbearers were: Bill Tucker, Jimmy Stovall, Need Purvis, Alton 
Rowan, Dick Tucker Sr., Joe Dixon.
 Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
