Born November 12, 1926 in Berrien County to the late Luther and Pearl McNabb Rowe, he was a retired service manager having worked with Howard Webb, John Chambliss and Bo Lovein Ford. He was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church and served during WWII with the U. S. Army Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Hendley Rowe of Nashville; two daughters, Judie (Ronald) Rowland of Chattanooga, TN and Glenda Braswell of Alapaha; one brother, Dorian Rowe of Statesboro; five grandchildren, Michael (Renee) Rowland of Rincon, Kimberly (Steve) McMillan of Nashville, Tim Rowland of Thomasville, Kay (John) Townsend of Parrish, FL, Jackie (Jimmy) Sparks of Alapaha; three great-grandchildren, Drew and Jackson Sparks and Emilie Rowland. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Nelson Rowe and Eston Rowe. Funeral services were held February 20 at 11 a.m. at Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary James, Mickey Lindsey and Mark Swain officiating. Becky Futch sang "Daddy's Hands" and "Mansion Over the Hilltop." Interment was in Flat Creek Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
