Born Sept. 15, 1934, in Berrien County to the late James Herbert and Mary Alice Moore, he was a retired plant manager for ITT Thompson and vice president and manufacturing consultant for Thompson International, Inc. He was a member of Crescent Beach Baptist Church in St. Augustine, a Mason/Shriner and member of the Hasan Temple in Albany. Survivors include his wife, Jean Harper Rowe of Alapaha and St. Augustine; a daughter and son-in-law, Shari and Mike Kohli of Jacksonville; granddaughter, India Hokli, step grandchildren, Kevin and Jonathan (Maureen) Kohli; two brothers, Herman Cleo Rowe of Alapaha and Larry Vernon Rowe of Warner Robins. Funeral services were held Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. David Beauchamp and Mike Gibbs officiating. Songs on CD included "How Great Thou Art," "Amazing Grace" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Marcrum McClellan, Larry Hogan, Hugh Harper, Mike Harper, Terry Harper, Audie Rowe. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Lee, Lincoln Gaskins, Hayne Norton, Ronald Cowart, B.F. Killingsworth, Cash Register, Bailey Barefoot, Al Murphy. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
