  Claudette Duren Rowe, 68, of Nashville died June 18, 2008 at her residence.
  Born June 16, 1940 in Cook County to the late William Seymour and Lois 
Lucille Matthews Roach, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was 
married to the late Willie B. Duren, Jr., who died in 1974, and was also 
preceded in death by two brothers Earl and Roy Roach.
  Survivors include three daughters, Lois Luke and Debra Brogdon, both of 
Nashville, and Rita Guess of Ocilla; son, Don Duren of Lakeland; four brothers, 
Gene Roach, Hilton Roach, Charles Roach, Jerry Roach, all of Lakeland, FL.; 
nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held June 21 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Revs. Clarence Luke and Johnny Guy officiating. "I'll Fly 
Away," "Amazing Grace" and "In the Garden" were played on CD.
  Interment was held at Empire Cemetery.
  Pallbearers were Nathan Luke, Aaron Brogdon, Justin Duren, Chris Trout, 
Ronnie Coleman, David Hancock.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
