 Harvey Dempsey Rowe, 66, of Adel, died Jan. 16, 2010, at his residence after a sh
short illness.
 He was born Sept. 6, 1943, in Berrien County, but lived in Cook County most of h
his life. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church and was a machinist with I
ITT for 35 years. His parents were the late Harden Percy Rowe and the late E
Elsie Anderson Rowe.
 He is survived by his wife, Linda Moore Rowe of Adel; two daughters and sons-in
in-law, April and Anthony Pollard Sr. of Summerville, SC and Stephanie and Davy 
Sorrell of Adel; two brothers, Donald Rowe of Tifton and Ricky Rowe of Quitman; 
a brother-in-law, Ben Moore of Adel; sister, Bonnie Singletary of Nashville; 
special sister-in-law, Monnie Womack (Charles) of Adel; seven grandchildren, A
Ariel, Angela and Anthony Pollard, Jr. of Summerville, SC, Hunter and Garrett S
Sorrell, Bethany and Hannah Hendley of Adel, He was preceded in death by a d
daughter, Angela Denise Rowe; two grandchildren, Alexandria and Kulesa Hendley; a
a brother, Wilson Rowe, and two sisters, Betty Rowe and Geraldine Wheeler.
 Services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 19 in the chapel of Boone-Lipsey Funeral hom
home with the Revs. Ike Jefferson and Maurice Anderson and Mr. George Clanton off
officiating. Bettye Joiner sang "The Old Rugged Cross," "I'll Fly Away," and
and "Go Rest on That Mountain."
 Interment was in Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Roland Lanier, Rhett Rowe, Kevin Norman, Stacy Patterson, M
Michael Singletary, David Sorrell.
 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements
