  ALAPAHA -- Winston Rowe, 67, of Route 1, died early Wednesday at his residence 
after a lengthy illness. He was a life long resident of Berrien County and was a 
retired farmer. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and attended Nashville Mission.
  He is survived by his widow, Grace Moore Rowe, one son and daughter in law, 
Ronald and Barbara Rowe, Alapaha; five sisters, Dallas Griffin, Alapaha; Maude 
Rutherford, Tampa; Wilva Purvis, Tifton; Dorothy Warick, Palatka; Melba Weldon, 
Hahira; three brothers, Vester Rowe, Alapaha; Bruce Rowe, Tifton; Willis Rowe, 
Douglas; three grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in the Nashville Mission with the 
Rev. Fred Hesters officiating. Burial will be in the Rowetwon Cemetery. Lovein 
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
