She was of the Baptist faith and had worked at Nashville Textile, Queen Carpet and for the Berrien County Board of Education. She was also a caregiver to many people. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Renee Rowland of Rincon and Tim Rowland of Jacksonville, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Steve McMillan of Hahira; granddaughter, Emilie Rowland of Rincon; brother, Rev. Lamar Taylor of Columbus; three sisters, Glyn Bailey, Weida May and Elaine Stone, all of Nashville; several nieces and nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Claude Taylor and Bobby Mize; two sisters, Jettie Johnson and Olivaleen McCorvey. Funeral services will be held April 11 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Boone Funeral home with the Revs. Gary Tankersley and Lamar Taylor officiating. The interment will follow at Longbridge Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of service. Boone Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
