Mrs. L.B. Royals, Well Known Ray City Lady, Dies
	Mrs. L.B. Royals, well known and highly esteemed lady of Ray City, 
passed away Monday night at the Askew Memorial Hospital, much to the sorrow of a 
large number of friends and relatives of Berrien County.  She was 35 years old.
	The deceased was the former Miss Dora Lee McGee, daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. W.C. McGee of Berrien County.  She was married to Mr. Royals in 1923 and 
the family had lived at their present residence the past eight years.  She was a 
faithful member of the Missionary Baptist Church, was a loving mother and wife, 
and her untimely passing was a shock to everyone.
	Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 11:00 o’clock at the 
Beaver Dam Church in Ray City, conducted by Rev. A.H. Giddens of Nashville, who 
paid the deceased a loving tribute.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
	Songs used were “Farther Along,” and “How Beautiful Heaven Must Be.”  
The singers were Edgar L. Griffin, N.H. Harper, Herman Guthrie, P.M. Shultz, 
Mrs. H.P. Clements, and Ms. Charlie Griffin, accompanied by Mrs. J.I. Clements 
at the piano.  The Giddens Funeral Home of Nashville, had charge of 
arrangements.
	Pall-bearers were N.N. Hughes, N.H. Harper, P.L. Tyson, E.S. Steward, 
Frank Register, and H.A. Swindle.
	Surviving besides the husband are four children, L.B. Jr., Groover, 
Virgil, and Frances Royals, as well as the parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. McGee of 
Lenox, also four brothers, Willie B. McGee, Curtis McGee, Rufus McGee, and W.D. 
McGee, and one sister, Miss Ozell McGee, all of Lenox.
