NASHVILLE -- Evelyn Rutherford, 78, of Ray City died Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 
Berrien County Hospital.
 The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pine Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Ken 
Potts, Elder Thad Marshall and Elder Dwight Marshall will officiate.
 Born Feb. 8, 1925, in Berrien County, Mrs. Rutherford was a homemaker. She 
retired after 23 years of service with Farm Bureau in Berrien and Cook 
counties. She made her home in the West Berrien Community for most of her 
life, moving to Ray City 9 years ago to be the caregiver for her mother. She 
was the widow of Dennis Rutherford who died in 1971. She was a member of Pine 
Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Mother's funeral will be a celebration of her 
life.
 Survivors include four daughters, Becky Myers of Sparks, Karen Shown of 
Valdosta, Sue Williams of Leesburg and Ginger Malloy of Panama City, FL; two 
brothers, James Moore of Jacksonville, FL and Harold Moore of Bay Minette, AL; 
nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, Aulie and Ruby Webb Moore; a 
sister, Rachel Annette Moore; and a brother, Charles H. Moore.
 Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today with the family receiving friends from 
7 - 9 p.m. at Lovein Funeral Home.
