  M.C. Albert Samples, 77, of Nashville died July 9, 2007 at Tift Regional 
Medical Center in Tifton.
  Born November 8, 1929 in Cherokee County, AL to the late Thomas Henry and 
Mittie Holcomb Samples, he was a retired mechanic. He was married to the late 
Mamie Ruth Edgeworth Samples and was also preceded in death by a son, James 
Thomas "Tommy" Samples, two granddaughters, Mellissa Samples and Amy Lindsey, 
and a great granddaughter, Cheyenne Faith Agan.
  Survivors include two daughters, Karen Irene Baldree of Tifton and Linda Jean 
Holcomb of Centre, AL; three sons, Jeffery Allen Samples of Nashville, Wendell 
Samples of Adel, Albert Eugene Samples of Gaskins, AL; 11 grandchildren, 
Melissa Sutton, James Baldree, Tabbathie Anthony, Charles Baldree, Elizabeth 
Samples Owens, Kimberly Samples, Sylvia Marie Agan, Melissa Lynn Samples, 
Travis Samples, Randy Holcomb, Travis Holcomb, seven great-grandchildren, 
Jeremy Anthony, Zach Anthony, Josh Sutton, Maggie Sutton, Whitney Agan, Jasmine 
Agan, Kaitlin Holcomb.
  Funeral services were held July 12 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Revs. Dan Robinson and Ken Williams officiating. Musical 
selections included "Go Rest Hight on that Mountain." "Precious 
Memories," "Amazing Grace," and "Daddy's Hands."
  Interment was in Lenox City Cemetery.
  Pallbearers were Tabbathie Anthony, Travis Samples, Sylvia Agan, James 
Baldree, Robert Baldree, Charles Baldree.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
