Born January 7, 1912 in Echols Co. to the late William Augustus and Beulah Cady Davis, she was a homemaker and worked at Moody Air Force Base as an air craft maintenance recorder. She served as a Pink Lady and was a charter member of the Pine Needle Sewing Club. She was a member of Nashville Primitive Baptist Church and was married to the late John Raymond Carter and the late T.K. Sargent. Survivors include two daughters, Raymonda Luginbuhl of Satellite Beach, FL and Elaine Hollrah of Lagrange; one sister, Grace Spence of Melbourne, FL; one brother, Dr. Roy Davis of California, KY; seven grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 24 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Elder Chris Folsom officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Luginbuhl, Kip Barry, Cody Barry, Jim Pharr, Gene Mulhart, Blake Mask, Leonard Thompson. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
