 Henry Shackleford, 87, of Nashville died July 5, 2013 at his home.
 He was born February 26, 1926 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to the late Frank Richard 
Shackleford, Sr. and Daisy Luna Jarvis Shackleford. He lived most of his life 
in Madison, FL, and Cook and Berrien Counties. He was a member of Adel First 
Baptist Church. He was retired from Harveys Supermarkets where he worked as a p
produce manager. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and in the Korean C
Conflict.
 He is survived by his wife, Jenelle B. Shackleford of Nashville; two sons and 
a daughter-in-law, Daryll and Gail Shackleford of Nashville and Ricky 
Shackleford of Fairburn; two grandchildren, Misty Stover of Chattanooga, TN and 
Michael Shackleford, Jr. of Aiea, HI; four great-grandchildren, Damien, Mason, B
Brooke and Meagan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one b
brother, Richard Shackleford.
 Funeral services were held July 8 at 11 a.m. at Adel First Baptist Church with 
Rev. Bill Marlette officiating. Mrs. Sheila Humber played the piano and 
sang “Jesus Loves Me,” “What a Friend We Have in Jesus,” and “It is Well with 
My Soul.”
 Interment followed at Pine Grove Cemetery in Madison at 2:30.
 Pallbearers were Damien Rogers, Bobby Caraway, Keith Mudler, Randy Salano, S
Stephen Rogers, Jody Greene.
 Honorary pallbearers were Randy Burnett, Ben Greene, Jimmy Purvis, David Fausett
Fausett, A.T. Bragdon, Sonny Vining, members of the Men’s Sunday School Class of A
of Adel First Baptist Church.
 Boone Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
