  Donna Lynne Shelton, 48, of Ray City died August 28, 2008 at South Georgia 
Medical Center after a sudden heart attack.
  Born in Lowndes County to Helen Griffis Bailey of Ray City and the late Fred 
L. Mikell, she had lived in Ray City most of her life. She supported her 
husband in their ministry at New Beginnings Fellowship Church in Ray City where 
they worked in filming, moving equipment, editing productions, public 
relations, etc. in their business, Dorandu Productions. They filmed events such 
as the Milltown Motorcade and Deer Fest in Lakeland. She is preceded in death 
by her father, Fred L. Mikell and step father, Sims Bailey.
  Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Randy Shelton of 
Ray City; two daughters, Christie Shoupe and fiancee, Kevin Godwin of Enigma, 
Heather and Zach Mays of Guntersville, AL; brother and sister in law Freddie 
and Shannon Mikell of Ray City; father in law and mother in law, Jim and 
Shirley Shelton of Mayfield, KY; stepdaughter, Kassie Shelton of Mayfield; four 
grandchildren, Brittney, Bradley, Drew and Kaliee Grace Mays; a number of 
nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on August 31 in the Chapel of Music 
Funeral Services with burial following in New Ramah Cemetery. 
  Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
