Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Hesters, the Rev. Lee Barnes, the Rev. Doug Griner, the Rev. Martin Collins and the Rev. Dell Young. Kim Griner, Andrea Collins and Wendy Butler sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "Only a a God Like You." Burial will follow at Nashville Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Mr. Shively was born July 15, 1936 in New Jersey to Albert Shively and Jennie Eckelberg Eckelberg, both deceased. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force as an E-7 w where he worked as an aircraft machinist and was a veteran of Vietnam. He was a m member of Southland Church. Mr. Shively is survived by his wife, Claire Ruth Wells Shively of Ray City; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Ruth and Steve O’Neal of Nashville, Christine and Michael Thompson of Valdosta, Charlene and Dale Arrowood of Ray City; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Albert M. Shively III and Steve and Debbie Shively, all of Ray City; one sister, Jennie Schools of Ray City; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
