 Jane Lindsey Shockley, 70, of Santee, SC, widow of Austin Durant Shockley, III, 
III, died January 6, 2012, at Life care Center of North Charleston.
 She was born in Berrien County to the late John T. and Sallie McNabb Lindsay. A fo
A former paralegal, she was a member of Eutawville First Baptist Church where she 
she taught special needs children in Sunday School.
 Survivors include daughters, Deedra S. Tidwell (Jack) of Ladson and Dana S. H. Con
Connor (Warren) of Holly Hill; sisters, Sarah Martha Thurmond of Alpharetta and Edi
Edith Ann Alexander of Roswell; brother, J.T. Lindsey of Cornelia; gra
grandchildren, Lindsey Wiser (Justin), Kayla Thorpe, Cheyenne Thorpe, Butler Hut
Hutchins and McKenzie Connor.
 Funeral services were held January 9 at Eutawville First Baptist Church with th
the Revs. Dave Salvo and Mike Thompson officiating.
 Burial followed in Holly Hill Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Danny Murrow, Keith Connor, Richard Russell, Tyler Wiggins, 
Mike Martin, Bryan Carson.
 Memorials may be made to Special Olympics of SC.
 Avinger Funeral Home of Holly Hill was in charge of arrangements.
