Born January 26, 1936. om Berrien Co. to the late Shafter Daniel and Myrtice E Eula Moore Simmons, he faithfully managed Anderson Shell Station and for many y years owned and operated WNGA Gospel Radio Station. He was a very devoted, l loving husband and father who truly loved the Lord while serving his friends a and community. He was of the Pentecostal and Church of God faith. He was p preceded in death by four brothers, Max Simmons, James Simmons, George Simmons a and Rudolph Simmons. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Kirkland Simmons of Nashville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Mark Morris of Nashville and Joan and Joseph Catalino of Alexandria, VA; two sons and one daughter-in-law, David S Simmons of Nashville and Chris and April Simmons of Nashville, two sisters, E Estelle Tripp of Sanford, NC and Elizabeth Miller of Jacksonville, FL; nine g grandchildren Hannah Kristin, Camryn, Zachary, Cannon, Tessa, Sam, Addison and T Taylor. Funeral services were held June 3 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Hom Home with the Rev. Raymond Cason officiating. Interment followed in Westview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Abundant Life Chapel playground project, 24 Ten M Mile Bay Rd. Nashville, GA 31639. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
