Funeral services for Eugene A. Simpson, 61, Jacksonville, Fla., who died at a 
Lake City Fla. hospital Dec. 25, following a prolonged illness, were held at the 
Nashville Baptist church at 11:00 a. m. Dec. 28 with Rev. Babbs and Rev. O. K. 
Graves officiating.  Interment was in Westview Cemetery.

Mr. Simpson was reared in Tennessee and his mother, Mrs. D. S. Simpson resides 
at Chattanooga.  He had been in declining health for the past two years.

Other survivors are the widow, Mrs. E. A. Simpson, 6875 59th St., Jacksonville, 
Fla., a sister Mrs. Harry Poole and a niece, Mrs. George Woodly, both of 
Chattanooga, Tenn.

A group of singers including Mrs. T. C. Perkins, Lawanna Webb, Jean McMillan, 
Andrew Edwards and Edgar Griffin sang "Abide With Me" and "In The Garden."

Active pallbearers were J. B. Boyett Jr., George Woodly, Terrell Swindle, 
Willard Nix, Artie Paulk, and Charles Gaskins.

Lovein Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
