Born April 13, 1944 in Coffee Co., he was the son of Mae Watson Singletary of Lakeland and the late Caulie Singletary. Retired from Nashville Tractor, Inc., he attended Nashville Mission. Survivors, in addition to his mother, included his wife, Bonnie Rowe Singletary of Nashville; one daughter, Tammy Touchton of Nashville; one son, Michael Singletary of Nashville; one sister, Jeanette Davis of Howell; one granddaughter. Funeral services were held July 2 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. Clarence Luke and Fred Hesters officiating. Musical selections included "Old Rugged Cross," "How Great Thou Art," and "Go Rest High on That Mountain." Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Terry Rowe, Rhett Rowe, Kevin Norman, Roland Lanier, Dennis Kent, Britt Clanton. Honorary pallbearers were E. D. McMillan, Rick Carter, Bobby McCorvey, Wayne Griffin, Gene Luke, Grant Hall, Larry Harrod, Pixie Harrod. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
