Born April 11, 1926 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Louis Howard and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Maeready Howard, she was a member of Nashville Holiness Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lankford Singletary, one brother, John L. Howard, and one sister, Stella Bennett. Survivors include three daughters, Frances Bradley of Fargo, Sue Moore of Nashville and Cherry Lamoreaux of Homerville; one sister, Penny Sellie of Moultrie; seven grandchildren, Stacy Lynn "Blondie" Cope of Nashville, Dawn Belissa "Dawn Baby" Lanier of Waresboro, Teresa Ann "Crickett" McCluskey of Nashville, Loretta Lynn "Tiger" Griffin of Homerville, Gregory Hastings "Man" Infinger of Nashville, Charles Leroy "BoPete" Odum of Homerville, Iris Danielle "Little Bit" Odum of Nashville; 18 great-grandchildren, several other relatives. Funeral services were held on March 22 at 3 p.m. at Fargo Church of God. Interment was in Fargo Memorial Cemetery. Roundtree Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
