She was born Aug. 31, 1920, in Berrien County to Perry Lewis and Fannie Mathis. She was a homemaker and attended the Nashville Church of God. She was the widow of Willie Marvin Singletary, who died in 1984. She is survived by three sons, Willie Marvin Singletary Jr. of Valdosta, James Kenneth Singletary of Morven and Perry Eugene Singletary of Valdosta; one sister, Velma Boyd of Nashville; six grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2005, at the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. The Rev. Loyce Walker will officiate. Musical selections included "Precious Memories," "Peace in the Valley," and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." Following the service, she will be buried at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. this evening at the Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville. — Pallbearers were Benji Benavies, Benji Benavides, Jr., Alton Reese, Marvin Singletary, Jr., Mark Singletary, Andy Cantrell, Gary Cantrell, Marvin Reese.
