He was born April 30, 1938 in Berrien County to the late Joe Eston and Dovie Luke Singletary. He was employed with Rest Easy Waste pickup. He was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Eston Singletary; sister, Mary Loudell Williams, and one step-son, Lonnie Morrow. Survivors include son, Stanley Singletary of Dahlonega; daughter, Norma Jean Jones of Dahlonega; sister, Betty Taylor of Nashville; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, three step-daughters, Angie Filloon, Lonetta Schonbok and Brenda Belden; 11 step-grandchildren, and very special friends Brenda and David H Herring. Funeral services will be held February 6 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Fu Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiating. Special music in includes "Amazing Grace," "How Great Thou Art," "Go Rest High on That Mo Mountain," and "I'll Fly Away." Interment will be in Vickers Cemetery. Pallbearers include Gunner Taylor, Hunner Taylor, Stanley Eston Singletary, J Jr. Earl Wayne Simmons, Ronnie Keith Skipper, Sage Lindsey. Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
