Born in Berrien County to the late John and Leatie Sirmans, he was retired from Industrial Companies and was a 50 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ray City. Survivors include three brothers, Aulie Sirmans of Nashville, Bill Sirmans and Carlton Sirmans, both of Ray City; four sister, Frances Black of Lakeland, Clyde Doig of Valdosta, Olga Wagner of Nashville, Lenora Jenkins of Kenner, LA. A graveside service was held September 3 at 11 a.m. at Beaver Dam Cemetery with Rev. Roger Culpepper officiating. Pallbearers were Frank Studstill, T.J. Smith, Gordon "Buddy" Purvis, J.D. Cone, Elliott Garner, Billy Creech. Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
