She was born on October 26, 1935, to the late Ellie and Bertie Brogdon in Berrien County. She retired from Nashville Textile as a seamstress and was a member of Trinity Holiness Church in Berrien County. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Sirmans, sister, Mary Peacock, three brothers, Alfred Brogdon, Lucious Brogdon, and Dub Brogdon. Survivors include her son, Jerry Sirmans of Ray City; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Wayne Arnold of Ray City; four grandchildren, Dawn (Brian) Spray, April (Jamie) Cribb, Allen (Tina) Montgomery, and Jennifer Sirmans; 10 great grandchildren, Taylore Spray, Seth Spray, Zachary Cribb, Justin Crib, Dawson Cribb, Nikki Cribb, Kristyn Montgomery, Jason Montgomery, Mckenzie Mann and Zach Mann; brothers and sisters-in-law, Julius and Iva Brogdon of Homerville, James and Arlene Brogdon of Lakeland; sister, Sally Harper of Nashville; a number of nieces of nephews. Funeral services were held November 3 at 3 p.m. at Trinity Holiness Church. Interment was in Guthrie Cemetery. Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
