He was born February 5, 1951, in Berrien County to the late Lancelot Julius “Cowboy” and Mildred Hayes Sirmans. He was a construction superintendent for Tishco., LLC in Valdosta and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Sirmans; sister, Ollie June Taylor; three brothers, Bob Folds, Lance Sirmans, and Wayne Sirmans. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Lentz Sirmans of Nashville; daughter, Terrie Sirmans of Nashville; two sons, Anthony Sirmans of Blackshear and James “L.J.” (Deidra) Sirmans of Nashville; three grandchildren, Abbigail, Braedon and Emma Reese Sirmans; three sisters, Elizabeth Joan Sirmans of Nashville, Faye (John) Patterson of Hahira, and Lettie Revels of Chatsworth; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 1 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Elder Thad Marshall and Mr. David Sirmans officiating. Interment was in Long Bridge Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
