 Robert Jackson Sizemore, 76, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Berrien County, d
died March 18, 2010, surrounded by his family.
 He was born September 9, 1933, in Berrien County. He graduated from Nashville 
High School in 1950 and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War in 
Japan. After returning home, he served in the Florida Air National Guard until 
he retired in 1988 as a Lt. Colonel. In 1957 he married the love of his life, 
Claudia Laynette McCorkle. He attended Jones College and graduated in 1971 with 
a Business Administration degree. He served on the board for the Samuel G. Taylor
Foundation.
Taylor Foundation. Service to God and church was the main focus of his life. He 
attended Paxon Church of Christ where he served as a deacon and elder and 
remained an active and beloved member until his death. It is said that in his 
marriage, his home, his family, his career, and in his relationships with his 
fellowships with his fellow-man, he walked in the pathways of God.
 Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his one brother and sister-in-law, 
Joe and Diane Sizemore of Ray City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Fr
Fred Powell and Melinda and Bob Morris; four grandchildren, Brandon Sizemore, Br
Brittney Morris, Brean Powell and Bryce Morris.
 Interment was in The National Cemetery.
 Town and Country Funeral Home of Jacksonville was in charge of arrangements
