 Larry Skinner, 58, of Nashville died July 23, 2012 at his residence.
 He was born May 21, 1954 in Lowndes County to the late John A. and Essie Mae 
Hayes Skinner. He had worked as a mechanic at Nashville Textile and was of the 
Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by three brothers, J.S. Skinner, James 
Skinner, and Daniel Skinner, sister, Dorothy Fania; half-sister, Mary Ellen G
Gray.
 He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Foss Skinner of Nashville; three sons, 
Travis (Amanda) Skinner and Eric Skinner, all of Hahira, and Justin Brodie 
Skinner of Ocala, FL; three sisters, Thelma Gray of Adel and Carolyn Broome, 
both of Adel and Margaret Bradford of Naylor; four half-brothers, Jimmy Dampier of 
of Villa Rica, Elder Robert Skinner of Lakeland, Kenneth Skinner and Leon Ski
Skinner both of Nashville; two grandchildren, Alyssa Skinner and Caleb Skinner; num
numerous nieces and nephews.
 A memorial service was held July 26 at 5 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
