  Martha Skinner, 66, of Nashville, died Monday, April 13, 2015, at her 
residence.
 She was born May 10, 1948, in Tift County to the late Harry Hiers and Lillian 
Elizabeth Tucker. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded 
in death by her first husband, Goldrick "Jack" Wheeler, who died in 1988. She is 
also preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Castleberry, Louise Lane and 
Dorothy Gray.
 Survivors include her husband, Curtis Skinner, Jr. of Nashville; two sons, Dr. 
Ricky Wheeler of Nashville and Roger Clark of Macon; daughter, Carol Strout of 
Nashville; sister, Elizabeth Taylor of West Berrien; two brothers, Harvey Hiers 
and Ronnie Hiers, both of Nashville; eight grandchildren; two great-
grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 16 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of 
Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Cason officiating.
 Interment was in Oakey Grove Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
