 Albert Smart, 80, of Nashville died September 29, 2005 at his residence.

 Born February 25, 1925 in Essex County, NY to the late Albert Seth and Hazel 
Brown Smart. He was a retired complaint administrator with the Miami/Dade 
County Police Department and an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII.

 Survivors include his wife, Nancy Susan LaMoy Smart of Nashville; three 
daughters, Sue Ash of Nashville, Doris Valdes of Valdosta, Linda Smart-Corber 
of Palm Coast, FL; four sons, Mark Smart of Valdosta, Frank Smart of Nashville, 
Neil Smart of Squamish, BC, Jerald Smart of Longview, TX; one brother, Dick 
Smart of Lake Placid, NY; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held October 2 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Revs. Mickey Lindsey and Daniel Dean officiating. Musical 
selections included "Angel Band" and "When I Get to the End of My Way" on CD. 
Cindy Musgrove sang "When We All Get To Heaven," accompanied on guitar by her 
father, Verdine Stanley. Interment was in Long Bridge Cemetery, Grandsons 
served as pallbearers.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
