 Meredith "Bo" Smith, 56, of Nashville died February 24, 2005 in Nashville.

 Born November 27, 1948 in Savannah to Dr. Harold M. and Madelyn Smith, he was 
Chief Executive Officer of Berrien County Hospital, chairman of the Georgia 
Hospital Association Council on Small and Rural Hospitals, a member of the 
Department of Community Health Office of Rural Health Advisory Board, the Blue 
Cross Blue Shield Hospital Advisory Council, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce 
Board of Directors and the Georgia Hospital Association Board of Directors. He 
was an active member of Rotary International.

 Survivors include his wife, Janet Myers Smith of Nashville; two daughters, 
Meredith Lynne Smith of  Jackson and Joan Jensen of St. Simon's Island; son, 
Brad Jensen of Savannah; one sister, Susanne Phillips of Columbus.

 Funeral services were held February 28 at 11 a.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral 
Directors, Hodgson Chapel with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating.

 Interment was in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.

 Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors of Savannah was in charge of arrangements.
