She was born Jan. 10, 1953 in Berrien County to the late Ernest and Nellie Vernell Stone Tucker. She was a Beautician and also worked at Nashville Mills as a Weaver and was a member of Nashville Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ernestine Graham and Nettie Mae Braddy. She is survived by her husband, Billy Smith of Nashville; two brothers, Marrlon Tucker, Nashville and Melvin Tucker of Sparks. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010 at Nashville Holiness Church with the Rev. Johnny Smith officiating. Frances Rowland sang "I Have Made It," and Rebecca Warren sang "I'm So Glad He Found Me," "Still Blessed" and "I'm a Winner Either Way." Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Nashville.
