 Ernest Jackson Smith, 86, of Nashville died May 9, 2014, at Berrien Nursing 
Center.
 He was born August 3, 1927, in Berrien County to the late James Robert and 
Betty Yawn Smith.  He was a retired security guard, a member of Nashville United 
Methodist Church, and an Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
 He is survived by two daughters, Pamela Diane Smith of Covington, LA and Debra 
Lois Barger of Hahira.
 Funeral services were held May 17 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Willie Heath officiating.
 Interment following at Westview Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
