  ALAPAHA -- Harold Paulk Smith, 80, of Alapaha died on Friday, Sept. 12, 2003 at 
at the Berrien County Nursing Center. 
  He was born on Feb. 10, 1923 in Berrien County to Robert Sherman Smith and Ja
Janie Mae Weston.
  He was a retired supervisor of public parking for Duval County, FL., and was a
a member of the United Methodist Church. He was an Army veteran of WWII.
  He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Harsey Smith of Alapaha; one daughter, 
Anita Jane Smith of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, Dr. Harold Paulk Smith Jr. of 
Jacksonville, FL, Jerry Burdette Smith of Alapaha; one sister, Jeanette 
Gilsdorf of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
  Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at 10 a.m. and Ra
Raymond Grimes will deliver a eulogy at Fletcher Cemetery. There will be no vi
visitation.
