William K. Smith, Sr., 78, of Nashville died July 9, 2014, at SGMC Berrien 
Campus.
 He was born December 7, 1935, to the late Charlie and Cora Lee Adams Smith. He 
was a farmer before retiring and he attended Abundant Life Assembly of God 
Church in Nashville.
 Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Charles Watson of 
Nashville; 12 grandchildren.
 He was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie Smith and William K. Smith, Jr.; 
three brothers, Dewey Smith, Bug Smith, and Norman Smith; four sisters, Althy 
Barber, Mary Lee Smith, Barbara Smith and Robbie Smith.
 A memorial service was held July 13 at Abundant Life Assembly of God with 
Pastor Raymond Cason officiating.
 Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
