 Louise Mobley Smoot, 73, a resident of Arlington, TX since 1976, died Oct. 9, 2
2010.
 Born Sept. 24, 1937 in Alapaha to the late Jesse and Annie Mae Pearson Mobley, 
she will be remembered as a loving warm and gracious woman, well-loved, and 
thoughtful of others. She loved gardening, children and looking at family 
pictures. She was preceded in death by an infant son; brothers, Jesse Arthur, 
infant boy, Donald James, Johnny, Troy Waylon Mobley; sisters, Annie Lee 
Koontz, and Bonnie Lois Exum; stepson, Clifton Eugene Smoot, Jr. and grandson, 
Joseph Bryan Hemsher.
 Survivors include her children, Brenda Bernstein and husband, Steve, Michael 
Smoot and wife, Cindy, Charles Smoot and wife, Linda, Karen Lucas and husband 
Bobby, Teresa Appleby and Lupe Estrada; siblings, Myrtle Ruth Goddard, Henry 
Gerald Mobley and Erma Jean Mobley;; 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home Ch
Chapel in Arlington.
 Wade Family Funeral Home of Arlington was in charge of arrangements.
