Born May 24, 1938 in Butler Co., AL to the late Robert Lee and Mavis Talley Lindsey, she was a homemaker and retired teller with the Citizens Bank. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst. Survivors include her husband, Robert T. Spann of Nashville; one daughter, Vicki Warren of Nashville; one son, Guy Spann of Nashville; one sister, Shirley Thomas of Montgomery, AL; four grandchildren. Funeral services were held December 11 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Stalvey officiating. Anna Norman sang "Amazing Grace" and Laurie Carter sang "I Can Only Imagine" and "Remember Me." Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Phillip Spann, Paul Spann, Gary Spann, Wayne Cook, Ken Hammer, Wink Conner. Honorary pallbearers were Anthony Booth, Vance Dean, Jim Garrett, Roy Miller, Franklin Harrison, Bart Fountain, Joe Watson. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
