 Laura Bell Spencer, 81, of Nashville died April 28, 2005 at Memorial 
Convalescent of Adel.

 Born September 2, 1923 in Schoharie Co., NY to the late Leslie Vern and 
Lillian Belle Miller Cook, she was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist 
Church in Norwich, NY. She was married to the late Ernest Gardner and the late 
Richard Spencer.

 Survivors include five daughters, Laura Lyn Gentzsch of Nederland, TX, Jean 
Marie Gardner and Sheila Ann Gardner, both of Nashville, Linda Rose DeWolfe of 
Fort Wayne, IN, Katherine Matias of Terzana, CA; one sister, Dorothy Neff of 
Scotia, NY; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, one great-
great-grandchild.

 A graveside service was held May 1 at 4 p.m. at Flat Creek Cemetery with Rev. 
B.J. Holiday officiating.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
