 Thermon Spires, 60, of Nashville died May 30, 2004 at his residence.

 Born August 30, 1943 in Cook County to the late Edward and Velma Smith Spires, 
he was an automobile mechanic with Franklin Automotive. He was a member of Flat 
Creek Baptist Church.

 Survivors include his wife, Karlene Holbrook Spires of Nashville; one 
daughter, Karen Spires of Nashville; one son, Robert Spires of Nashville; three 
grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held June 1 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating.

 Interment was in Crossroads Cemetery in Cook County.

 Pallbearers were Mitch Griffin, Mike Griffin, Tracy Greene, Scott Greene, Lacy 
Greene, Johnny Holbrook.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
