  Lillie Ann Ewing, 74, of Nashville, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Crestwood 
Nursing Center.
She was born February 13, 1941, in Eufaula, AL to the late Curtis and Myrtice 
Glover Smith. She was a homemaker and retired secretary in the hotel industry. 
She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall of Adel. She was the widow 
of Willie Gene Spurlock and also preceded in death by a sister, Pat Libert; and 
a brother, Jim Smith.
 She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Randy) Fortune of Nashville; son, 
David (Kimberly) Spurlock of Eufaula, AL; seven grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 25 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of 
Lovein Funeral Home.
 Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
