The Berrien Press--Dorothy Ann Stanford, 63, of Nashville died January 13, 
2006 at Berrien County Hospital.
 Born August 23, 1942 in Berrien County to the late Charlie and Jimmie Lee 
Griffin Ray, she was a homemaker and employed with Berrien County Hospital in 
the housekeeping department.
 Survivors include her husband, Arthur Garfield Stanford of Nashville; two 
daughters, Lisa Jones and Diane Stone, both of Nashville; three sons, Richard 
Knowles and Gary Knowles both of Nashville, Wayne Stanford of Centrailia, WA; 
two sisters, Lorene Browning of Nashville and Barbara Matejka of Cordele; two 
brothers, Billy Ray of Ray City and James Earl Ray of Savannah; 13 
grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held January 15 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Revs. Johnny Smith and Joey Harris officiating. The 
Charles Bristol family provided music.
 Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
