 Thomas A. Steverson, 55, of Nashville, died Monday, Sept. 5, 1988 in Tift 
General Hospital, Tifton, after a short illness.
 Born October 5, 1932 in Telfair County, son of the late Allie Thomas and Mrs. 
Minnie Floyd Steverson. He was a maintenance supervisor at Nashville Mills.
 He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Hancock Steverson of Nashville; 
mother, Mrs. Minnie Steverson of WIllacoochee; two daughters, Patsy Spivey of 
Douglas and Kathy Steverson of Nashville; three sons, Tony Steverson, Jerry 
Steverson and Alan Steverson, all of Nashville; two sisters, Nellie Smith of 
Callahan, FL. and Clara Gaskins of Jacksonville, FL; four brothers, Jimmy 
Steverson of Nashville, Billy Steverson of Alapaha, Lamar Steverson of 
Jacksonville, FL and Ray Steverson of Willacoochee; and five grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 at Nashville Mission. 
The Rev. Fred Hesters, pastor, officiated.
 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were W. E. Hughes, Walt Durden, Raymond Graham, Robert 
Brady, Leon Jones and Walter Spikes.
 Levein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
