Mrs. Othelee McDonald Stone, age 79, of Alapaha, GA, passed away Tuesday, 
December 25, 2001, at Tift Regional Medical Center, Tifton, GA following an 
extended illness.
 Mrs. Stone a native of Coffee Co., GA was born January 29, 1922, the daughter 
of the late Tommie and Rebecca Vickers McDonald. She was a homemaker and the 
widow of the late Hewey Stone. Her church membership was at the Lax Holiness 
Baptist Church.
 Survivors include: daughter: Annette Padgett of Alapaha, GA; sister: Essie 
Mae Myers of Ambrose, GA; brother: Willie J. McDonald of Willacoochee, GA, 
nieces and nephews. Brother, Leston McDonald preceded her in death.
 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday Dec. 28, 2001 at Mt. Paron 
Primitive Baptist Church in Alapaha, GA with Rev. Glen Fussell officiating. 
  Burial followed at the Mt. Paron Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers were: 
Thomas Heath, Dennis Paulk, Lamon McDonald, Jr. Trevor Carter, Vinson Griffin 
and Bobby Wood.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
