 Joe Frank Stone, 72, of Jacksonville, FL died September 10, 2004 at Cedar 
Hills Convalescent Center in Jacksonville.

 Born May 23, 1932 in Berrien County to the late Aaron Joseph and Bessie Belle 
Roland Stone, he was a retired aircraft painter with Civil Service and an Army 
veteran who served in Korea. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

 Survivors include his wife, Ora Janelle Exum Stone of Jacksonville; one 
daughter, Rosemary Stone of Jacksonville; four sons, Gary Stone, Dennis Stone, 
Glenn Stone, all of Jacksonville, Wendell Stone of Macclenny, FL; two sisters, 
Betty Jean Hall and Cleo Waters, both of Jacksonville; ten grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held September 13 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Forrester officiating. Musical selections 
included "Go Rest High On That Mountain" and "Angel Band."

 Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery.

 Sons and grandson served as pallbearers.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
