 Martha Jane "Janie" Stone, 84, of Nashville, died Friday, Nov. 7, 1997, at 
Berrien County Hospital. Born June 3, 1913 in Berrien County she was the 
daughter of Jeff Metts and Elizabeth Harrell Metts. She was a homemaker and of 
the Pentecostal faith.

 Survivors are her three sons, Willie C. Stone, Wilson Stone and Russell Stone, 
all of Nashville, one sister, Jeffrie Smith of Valdosta; seven grandchildren 
and four great granddaughters.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Stone and a daughter, Glenda 
Stone.

 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home 
with the Rev. Fred Hesters, officiating. Burial will follow in Westview 
Cemetery.

 Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. today with the family receiving friends 
from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
