Born November 6, 1942 to the late Archie and Alice Exum Stone, he was employed with the Berrien County Road Department and was of the Baptist faith.He was p preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Stanford and Geneva Ray. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Bryan Stone of Nashville; four daughters, Sandra Browning, Peggy Taylor, Bonnie Stone and Karen Morey, all of Nashville; two sons, Jimmy Stone and Dewayne Morey, both of Nashville; four sisters, Jeanette Jackson of Lakeland, Helen Toliver and Janie Hughes, both of Nashville, and Mary Toliver of Cosby, TN; brother, Archie Stone Stone of Nashville; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 13 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Hom Home with the Rev. Phillip Simmons officiating. Musical selections played on CD inc included "Precious Memories," "How Great Thou Art," and "Father Along." Interment followed at Nashville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Jonathan Taylor, Shawn Lang, Guy Browning, C.J. Roberts, Cody L Luke, Dewayne Morey. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
