 Doris Stone, 91, of Alapaha died June 26, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
 She was born November 12, 1920 in Berrien County to the late Eston and Rachel 
Griffin Solomon. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist 
Church. She was the widow of Hazel Stone, and also preceded in death by a son, 
Raymond Stone, and three brothers, Charles, Tillman Solomon, and Harold “Babs”
Solomon.
 She is survived by two sons, Roy Stone and Lamar Stone both of Alapaha; sister,
Nell Rose Nugent of Alapaha; brother, Talmadge Solomon of Jacksonville, FL; eight
grandchildren, 14 great

 Funeral services were held June 29 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home
with the Rev. Bobby Fussell officiating.

Marilee Stone family.
 Interment followed at Mt. Paron Cemetery.
 Grandsons served as pallbearers.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
