 Lucious Carl Stone, Jr., 77, of Nashville died March 17, 2009 at his residence.

 Born Aug. 14, 1931 in Berrien County to the late Lucious Carl and Cora Wheeler 
Stone, he was a retired drywall hanger and member of Hope Baptist Church. He 
was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Jean Kelley Stone who died Aug. 31, 
2005.

 He is survived by six daughters, Ludine Stalvey, Hahira, Peggy Stone, Marsha 
Bauknight, Patricia Newbern, Teresa Hatcher all of Nashville, Christy Knight, 
Ambrose; five sons, Larry Stone and Tony Stone both of Nashville, L.R. Stone, 
McMinville, TN, Stevie Stone, Hahira, Hank Stone, Ray City; three sisters, 
Loudelle Whiddon and Kathleen Roberts, both of Nashville, Christine Ethridge, 
Sylvester; two brothers, Little Buddy Stone, Tampa, FL, Bobby Stone, Moultrie; 
24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. March 20 in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Revs. Ray Dean, Johnny Smith and Danny Ray officiating. Songs on 
CD included "Go Rest High on That On That Mountain" and "If You Only Knew." Eve 
Grifffin sang "Daddy's Hands."

 Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens.

 Active pallbearers were Michael Stone, Josh Jewell, Justin Stone, James 
Hatcher, Jamie Stalvey, Brandy Duren, B.J. Stone, Allen Stone.

 Honorary pallbearers were Tim Newbern, Little Tony Jewell, Darrell Blount, 
Leroy Griffin.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
