 Phyllis Ann Strickland, 70, of Ray City died January 12, 2012, at Smith No
Northview Hospital.
 Born October 24, 1941 in Columbus, OH, to the late Richard Amos and Phyllis L
Laura Louise Knopp Stevens, she was a teacher with the Coffee County School S
System and a member of New Beginnings Church in Ray City. She is preceded in d
death by her husband, John Paul Strickland, and a daughter, Yevette Strickland M
Milton.
 Survivors include a daughter, Alisa Harper of Ray City; son and daughter-in-law,
John and Marsha Strickland of Ray City; son
law, John and Marsha Strickland of Ray City; son-in-law, Alan Milton of Ray 
City; grandchildren, Heather Milton, Ashley Milton, Alana Milton, Allen Harper, 
Amber Beard, Austin Harper, Kira Strickland, Danielle Strickland, great-grandchild,
Caleb Beard; three brothers, Jackson C. Stevens of St. Marten Island, Ronald Stevens
of Cleveland, Amos Richard Stevens of Grove City, OH.
 As per her wishes she was cremated and a memorial service was held January 16 in
the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
