 Freddie Lou Studstill, 76, of the New Lois Community in Nashville passed from 
this earthly life to her heavenly home on June 26, 2014, at Langdale Hospice 
House in Valdosta after a lengthy illness.
 She was born July 15, 1937, to the late Fred and Georgia Heath Rhoden in Elba, 
AL. She was a dedicated and devoted wife and mother, always being the strength 
and support of her family, and was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. 
She was retired from Valdosta State University as Assistant personnel manager.
 Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, John A. Studstill, Sr. of 
Nashville; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon S. and Bill Lewis of Nashville; 
daughter and son-in-law, Michelle S. and Tim Hiers of Lenox; son and Special 
friend, John A. Studstill, Jr. and Pat Tucker of Warwick; daughter and son-in-
law, Stacey S. and William (Bill) C. Moore, II of Nashville; grandsons, Gage A. 
Studstill, John Dillon Studstill, Jason S. Lewis, Brian H. Lewis, Justin H. 
Hiers, and Garrett M. Moore; two granddaughters, Salena L. Miller and Jill H. 
Paulk, one great-granddaughter, four great-grandsons; sister-in-law and brother-
in-law, Floyce H. and Russell Black of Atlanta; sister, Joann H. Harris of 
Valdosta; many nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held June 29 at 4 p0.m. at Lakeland Chapel of Music 
Funeral Services. 
 Burial followed at Nashville Memorial Gardens in Nashville.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
