Born September 19, 1949 in Berrien County to the late Walter and Hazel Futch Brantley, she was a homemaker and employed with Nashville Mills in the finishing department. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Faye, who died in 1974. Survivors include her husband, Randall Sumner, Nashville; son, Scotty (Wanda) Sumner, Ray City; daughter, Tonya (DeWayne) Morey, Nashville; three stepdaughters, Rhonda (Jackie) Porter of Morven, Robin Sumner of Morven and Kathy Jewell of Baxley; sister, Janet Chouinard of Brunswick; brother, Johnny (Sarah) Brantley of Ray City; eight grandchildren, Logan and Evan Sumner, Ashley Brogdon, Racheal and Samantha Hutchinson, Jeffrey Toler, Austin Sexton and Tony Porter. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on April 15, in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. Wayne Boykin and Randy Shelton will officiating. Selected music was provided. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
